My first guest post! I was very grateful to have my post accepted for the OUP Global ELT blog. I saw that they didn’t have any posts on using VLEs, which is one of things I’ve done loads of work on. I guess it’s much easier to set up and maintain for an organisation the size of an FE College in the UK (we have something like 11,000 students) than for the small private language schools which make up a large proportion the English language teaching sector globally.
